Travel back in time and experience what it might have felt like for New Zealanders during World War Two. Firth Tower will be hosting the Historical Reenactment Society in September, and they will be recreating a battle scene, as well as giving a historical talk. Come along to meet some like-minded friends, and maybe even learn something new. Entry is only a $2 coin per person, and that will grant you access to all the exhibits!
The event schedule is as follows:
1000 - Firth Tower Museum Opens
1015 - Formal flag raising with Guard of Honour.
1130 - WWII history talk in the Heritage Room.
1330 - Re-enactment battle (with re-enactors set up throughout the day).
1530 - Formal flag lowering with Bugle and Ode.
1600 - Firth Tower Museum Closes
